How it works
The Ezy-Lifter device is made up of a grip attached to a long shaft with a jaw at the bottom. You attach your hands to the top rubber grip, slot the jaw in between the timber joist and then pull towards yourself while gripping the shaft. Click here for instructions
It works like a giant lever. The timber floorboards lift away from the floor's framing (vertical joist) and horizontal lengths of timber boards are removed, 3-4 at one time.

Smart thinking
For softer timbers such as pine floor boards, which are mainly used internally, there is a separate attached rubber insert that goes over the internal steel jaw of the device. This stops the soft pine floorboards from being marked and therefore the boards can be recycled for another job or on sold for a profit.
